Getting Prettier with Sun Tanning

Sun tanning also widely known as sun bathing is activity that pursues the change of skin color. It is usually done by the white people who think that their skin is too white or tends to be pale white and seems unhealthy. There are many ways of getting tan, and one of the most popular one is just absorbing sun shine on the beach, by simply laying naked there. That’s the simple and cheap way, while another one is by using an artificial tanning bed, which is now, can be easily found in modern countries, mainly in Europe and America where there is not any time they have enough sun lights to be used as tanning sources.


As the cheapest way to get tan simply by laying naked on the bed, it has more advantages which are getting unlimited source of vitamin D, as raw material straight to the body. The largest part of the body getting exposed to the sun lights, the more it gets the vitamin D, and that’ is one of many reasons there are special area (commonly beach) where people can completely get naked in order to get more sun lights.

Just for information for you who don’t know yet, what will happens when your body get tanned, or having exposed to the sun lights; The sun lights itself contains two UV lights; they are UV A which is the one to blame as it is carcinogen and can be damaging our DNA. It creates the actual color of tan on the skin by releasing of melanin from the melanocytes and oxidized it with Oxygen. It is not blocked by the ozone in our atmosphere and it is what we encounter on our everyday life. While, UV B, known causes these happening; it is stimulate damaging the DNA and the results is increasingly melanin, causes sunburn in over exposed skin, produces vitamin D, stimulates to produce new melanin and resulting new darker pigments in few days.


As told above, besides of getting unlimited source of vitamin D, there are also the side effects. Says, it may causes irritation to the eyes, sunburn, early aging skin, skin wrinkle faster, DNA mutation, damaged immune system and the most horrible is higher risk of having melanoma. Not to mention if you are in the middle of your pregnancy. It is completely save, if you are taking really good precautions before doing it.
