The Simplest Way to Annihilate Fleas/Ticks from your Pets

Fleas or ticks are very common disturbance in our pets, especially those which are loved to play in outdoors. They lived from sucking at our pet’s blood and carried out bacterial and contagious diseases, and they grow and spread quickly. Hence, it is very difficult to get rid of. Almost pets, especially dogs have this issue with ticks or fleas. They usually attack our pets every couples of months regularly. Its body size can be doubled when they full of blood after sucking it from its host, which are our pets.

It is not very difficult to know whether our pets have fleas or ticks or not, they usually constantly scratching their body, and it is usually their fur is fall of and they seem unhealthy. However, here is simple method (or not) to see if our pets have fleas or ticks or not;

Sit our pet (dog) on a piece of white paper or on a white floor,
Then, comb/brush its fur with for about couples of minutes, while brushing or combing, it seems some of its dirt falling off the fur onto the white paper or floor.
Separate those dirt from the fur, and move it to another clean white paper, and put a drop of water or so on to it,
Leave it be for about a minute,
Those dirt come from dried blood, sucked from their host, which is our pet. And when it is already dry, it looks like dirt for its soil gray color. But when we move it to another piece of white paper, and get it when, it’ll turns to reddish.
That’s how we know, if there are troubles with our pet, in this case dogs, and they suffered from fleas or ticks.

How to deal with it?

Many pets health care products available out there, and some of them (which means most of them) are very expensive and not resulting the way we expected before. Is there any other way we encounter these disturbing fleas or ticks? Which is not very expensive but efficient as well?

Well, here some of the tricks:

• Using mixed liquid of 1 cup of water, 2 cups of vinegar (use the distilled one), 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil or almond oil, couples spoons of lemon juices, or lemon oil, or peppermint oil.
Put it in the sprayer bottle, and apply it on to our pet’s dry fur. Avoid sensitive areas such as, eyes, genitals, mouth, and nose. If the pet is actively going outdoors, you might wanna apply them three or four times a day. But, if they occasionally go out, just once or twice would suffice it.

• This other one, is suggested highly for the most desperate situation. Instead of using mixed liquid, use kerosene. The side effect is, your pet’s fur will fall off along with the ticks or fleas, before it re-grows.

It is the best way to prevent than to cure. To do so, in this case, bathe your pet regularly with appropriate animal shampoo and always maintain their health and clean state.
